We notified with conviction and sense of responsibility the SCIP Database (Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects -Products) to ensure adequate information on the composition of the commissioned materials we work. The SCIP Database aims to monitor products use, in order to guarantee consumers’ health, and improve waste management practices.

Starting from January 5th , we have carefully notified the composition of the worked alloys and as of February 2021 the information in SCIP database will be publicly available to consumers and waste operators.

Our shop has been working lead-free materials for years now, thus acquiring experience on workability, on the best tools for the different types of materials, as well as on production waste management.

With our participation to the initiative wanted by the European Commission we are convinced that we can contribute, in our small way, to protect workers, citizens and the environment, certain that the future of our sector is oriented towards the definitive replacement of substances not suitable for health.
